Responsibilities:

• Design, Configure and implement configuration changes to Core Network and Providing 2nd line support to the networks and infrastructure.

• Manage the server and network infrastructure and assist in the development of security strategies and their implementation and participate in global network infrastructure upgrades with certified Cisco partners.

• Experience with a variety of network infrastructure technologies, including Firewalls, Routing & Switching, Voice / Communications, Load Balancing, and Wireless.   

• Installation, configuration and support of LAN/WAN, Administrating firewalls, Capacity planning and Changes on the network around routers, switches, VPN's.

• Working with the core team on tight deadlines on exciting new projects and Error log checking, performance monitoring and tuning.

• Support internal and external client networks, troubleshooting to resolve issues and Diagnose network issues internally and for clients.  

• Can work on a shift basis on a rota providing 24x7 NOC support for our data centres networking devices.

• Reviews and updates operational services processes daily.

• Maintains operational documentation necessary to operate all systems, including execution schedules, job descriptions, flow charts and escalation procedures.

Skills Required:

• Professional level CCIP or CCNP highly desired.

• 3+ years combined experience in technical hands-on design, implementation and support of medium to large IT Data Center operations.

• 3+ Years of experience in all aspects of IP Data Networking such as:

• IP routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IP Multicast or MPLS

• Network protocols: TCP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, SNMP & DNS

• 2+ Year experience in all aspects of Data Security such as, Cisco CCSP.

• Security protocols: SSH, HTTP/STTPS, FTP/SFTP, SMTP or Telnet, Cisco ASA/Check Point /VPN- F5/Nortel/Proxy appliances- BlueCoat
